JOURNEY'S BOX
Logo Design / Print Design

Journey’s Box is a new non-profit organization that is currently in the making. It is a subscription box service that caters to helping young girls learn about womanhood and self-care. The non-profit focuses on girls that are or have been in the foster care system and promotes knowledge about self-love and self-care. I was asked to create the branding and help design print collateral. The main symbol of the company is a monarch butterfly, which symbolizes change and growth. The owner wanted a logo that girls of all ages could relate to and identify.
As this project is still in the making, I hope to create their website and design their packaging.
DESIGN
They wanted the color scheme to be an analogous color palette. Their brand was to empower young girls and even women of all age groups. Everything from the color palette to the specific details in the butterfly were carefully thought out. Purple symbolized royalty, power, and ambition. All of these are qualities their brand should promote.T The typography for the logo is DINPRO Light for “BOX,” and Superclarendon Regular for “Journey’s.” I altered both fonts to create the final piece.
